Release notes

Version: 3.5.6 (10.05.2022)

Description: Bugfix release

Notes: TMOR 3.5.6 Fixes a bug on the FTP upload function. The TMOR base station pinged the FTP publishing server before uploading data. Some FTP server do not respond to pinging. This lead to cancellation of FTP upload operation. In order to deal with non ping replying FTP server, the base station now also tries to connect via ftp user, after the failed pinging.

Version: 3.5.0 (14.09.2018)

Description: Major release

Notes: TMOR 3.5.0 opens new secure ways to operate TMOR in public wifi networks. A newly introduced user management system allows for the attribution of rights and permissions on role level (such as super user, admin or guest etc.). The support of ADC (analog digital converters) was enhanced. Now the ADC reading values can be freely mapped to any significant output value. Various little bugs where eliminated. Among them, the memory issue which arisies when FTP data sharing is active without any network connection.

Summary of new features:

  • User / Role managment is now part of TMOR. Apache Shiro provides the underlying technology.
  • Enhanced data clean up function. Now data can be deleted or adjusted graphically. This feature is very usful when a sensor starts misreading values:
    • With the delete function, data outliers can be visualized graphically and deleted in the graph.
    • With the data adjust function, a range of data points (those wit a constant offset - example temperature is constantly 2 degreees to warm) can be reajusted in the graph
  • ADC support greatly enhanced:
    • ADC input port values can now be mapped to any output value by defining your own input/output mapping function. This way non linearity of sensors can compensated
    • The XBEE coordinator ADC ports on the Base station can now be used.
  • Bugfix in ftp data sharing. TMOR Base station ran into a OutOfMemory Exception when during the ftp data sharing time window the internet network was lost. Now TMOR handles the this expectional system state.

Version: 3.1.0 (30.04.2018)

Description: Interim release

Notes: This release is a bug fix release. Problems with Raspi version 3 and its serial interface are solved by using a flag file. The usage of TMOR base station in a dynamic ip environment is simplified. Data management is enhanced by providing a clean up function.

Summary of new features:

  • Base Station broadcasts it's assigend ip address via twitter
  • New data clean up function - keep good data - get rid of the rest
    • The 'data above' criteria let you delete data which is above a user defined value to eliminate outliers
    • The 'data below' criteria enables you to delete data which is below a user defined treshhold to eliminate outliers
    • The 'time' criteria permits the deleting of data which is between a start and a end date/time
  • Raspi version 3 serial connection to XBEE radio module is by default off
  • Bugfix in ftp data sharing. Key data can now be accessed via javascript

Version: 3.0.0 (29.11.2017)

Description: Official TMOR release

Notes: This release supports you with data publishing to custom web sites. By choosing an ftp server, you can simply share your graphical data with third parties. With this approach you don't need to grant people access to your Base Station, but can simply embed the TMOR charts on custom web sites. The chapter FTP Server data sharing explains step by step how to share your TMOR data with the world.

Summary of new features:

  • Support Of SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) data transfer to 3. party web hosters
  • Minor bug fixes

Version: 2.0 (19.05.2017)

Description: Second official TMOR release

Notes: This release introduces the new feature of Direct Rules. The current rule engine resides on the TMOR base station and is intended for non time critical applications such as email sending etc... See documentation for more information. In contrast, the Direct Rule engine resides on the TMOR brick and acts on physical sensor input. With the Direct Rule engine one can configure the TMOR brick for time critical control applications. Its flexible, fast and real time.

Summary of new features:

  • Direct Rules - Define rules on the Brick itself
  • Data Management - Enhanced data treatment on data base
  • ADC input data - Able to process information from analog sensors
